I've been doing a lot of experimenting and just enjoying the act of painting lately. I've really been getting into the wet on wet technique with florals and landscapes and want to share one of the paintings that I love.
This is a very loose interpretation of begonias and the colour and bleeds are the focus for this piece. I love the hits of ultramarine between the bright pops of red. These bright little flowers seem forever optimistic.
